Franco Fontana

 From the color and light lecture I decided to chose Franco Fontanta. I chose him because I find his images really interesting, the colors are vibrant, and to me his images almost look like paintings. I really enjoy looking at his landscape images because you can clearly tell what it is supposed to be he just chooses to make the colors pop a little more and each section of the landscape is clearly visible. 

This image is really pleasing to the eye. again, because you can clearly tell what it is but Fontana makes it different from other landscape pictures by introducing the different colors. I also really enjoy the textures of this image too. The red section is textured to almost look like grass and the clouds have a texture that draws your attention away from the colors and to them. 

The image above is also really interesting and I think its because of the colors too. if the color wasn't there it would be a really boring image but the contrast of the yellow, red, and blue against the grey is really pleasing. I also enjoy the geometrics of this image and I think the different shapes bring some excitement to the image.
