Annie Leibovitz
I really enjoy Leibovitz's work. I especially like the Disney images she has captured (mainly because I love Disney) but also because everyone knows what it is. Without reading about the image you can see the castle in the mist and the "W" in the Disney font. I like that the castle isn't the main focus of the image but it is still very apparent beyond the misty background. I also enjoy the pop of color in the dress and how she captured this image in a place that makes the color of the dress stand out.
I like the second image simply because it is so different from the first. The first is fairytale and dreams and the second is rock and roll, cigarettes, and alcohol. I like that she captured this image in black and white because I think it sets the mood and gives it that rock and roll feel. I also like the use of depth of field -- you can see everything on the table but the bottom right corner is just a little blurred in order to have the people in the image the main focus.
